The Cannon Volute ®

The Cannon Volute is built with a longer lasting 4-nozzle polyurethane construction that will not rust or dent. It creates a better spraying pattern and greater atomization. The Cannon Volute also enhances the distance that spray droplets are able to cover, and creates more CFM's of air than a horizontal volute.

A Mist Sprayer is much more efficient than other spraying applications because it creates an air vortex that makes spray droplets swirl over, under and around foliage. It produces a more uniform droplet pattern and provides you more droplets per square inch of surface area. In fact, up to 35% of the droplets are deposited on the under side of the leaves. This provides you with great spraying efficiency. You will be able to use less active product and 1/10th the water you would use in other spraying applications.

I also spot treat for Johnson grass with outstanding results. I would say if you don't have a Mist Sprayer in your farm operation, you are making your job a lot harder then necessary.

I have used a Mist Sprayer for over 13 years to spray my cattle for fly control. When the cattle get used to you spraying them, they will come to the sprayer and stand to let you drive around them. I do not pen them up. We also spray our pasture for brush and broadleaf control with very good results and a real cost saving over boom spraying or airplane spraying. Another benefit of the mist sprayer is for spraying grasshoppers with good to excellent control! I would recommend this Mist Sprayer to all farmers and ranchers.

My wife and I are row crop farmers on the Missouri River, and also have a campground that we lease out. We have a Utility Engine Driven Mist Sprayer that we put on a trailer and pull with our ATV or a small Ford tractor to spray for mosquitoes and around our campground. Barrier spraying for mosquitoes with a mist sprayer works really well because we can spray the trees, shrubs, and tall grass where the mosquitoes are resting with excellent results. We also use the mist sprayer to spray fence rows and road side ditches.
